Default No weekend event?

Not that I'm complaining. Hopefully they are busy fixing soul reaping, hero AI in HM, the strange disappearing drops in HM, or maybe even more ambitious things like a proper trade system........

But there is an event team, and this would break a pretty lengthy event weekend streak. If it's as easy as flipping a switch for triple greens, double faction/LB or sunspear, etc, then why not?

Maybe they are late getting the word out. Or something?

Again, it's no biggie......kinda nice knowing I don't need to farm my brains out while it lasts.

Don't know about you, but when I log into Guild Wars, it says on the announcement prompt that this weekend will be another double XP from capturing elites weekend.

I'm hoping it's true, because my mesmer wants her legendary survivor

Might as well be no weekend.

I'm sitting on 250 skillpoints, 50 of those were obtained just through Hard Mode missions. Which Skill Hunters are that strapped for EXP?

yep, once you hit 200+ skill points, what's the point?

Heh...330 some skill point over here, on my monk. It would nice if we could get back some of the cash we spent on skills. Something along the lines of trading in extra skill points for 1K.

But yeah, double exp for capn' elites is kinda....usless.

Double xp while capping elites weekend again? I have 463 unused skill points on my warrior and everything unlocked.... So what's the point? Add something extra like double xp from elite skill capping and double festival tickets at the boardwalk, double tome and elite tome dropping weekend, double the chance of getting a gold/keys etc. You know, something fun?

I think they are discussing which minipets to give during E3.

While I'll admit that it's a pretty useless weekend, there ARE one or two people that it might benefit.

I have a friend that was recently capturing every elite he could, to get the next level of his Survivor title. He would've been pretty happy with this weekend, then.

Personally, I have useless XP coming out of my ears, and can't really say I care.

*Gasp*, remember when there weren't events every weekend and people still got on with their lives and played GW anyways? *gasp* the terror of not having triple heros exp weekend. Seriously, most weekend events are gimmicks and most hard core players will be playing either way.
